For over 150 years, The Cross Church has been impacting Wylie, surrounding communities and places around the world. We began in 1870 when a small group of rural residents started a church. Since then, we seek to be a people that shares God’s Love, serves one another, and removes barriers to help people see Jesus more clearly.

The Cross Church welcomes all to join our weekend gatherings. Our diverse services and ministries aim to introduce people to Jesus and to be a place that offers hope, spiritual growth and belonging. Messages each week are based on the infallible Word of God with real life application. Watch a message or two online to hear our pastor’s teaching style.

The Cross Church offers Christ-centered, high energy, age-appropriate, and fun weekend and weekday worship experiences for the next generation, ages birth through 12th grade. Growth Groups gather weekly for Bible study, encouragement, and community. Members are encouraged and equipped to serve out of their gifting and calling. In partnership with our community, missionaries, and missions’ organizations we meet physical and spiritual needs to the glory of God and the good of people.

Worship Production Director

The Worship Production Manager gives leadership to all the technical elements necessary to produce live and online worship services and ministry events. This includes recruiting, developing, planning, and supervising worship services as well as giving oversight to campus audio, video, lighting, stage design, editing, and multi-media needs of the church in The Cross Church’s high-performance culture and mission to spread God’s fame by making disciples of all people. This position reports to the Creative Arts Pastor.

Communications Director

The Communications Director leads all communication efforts to effectively share The Cross Church's vision, mission, and message. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong creative abilities who can develop and implement cohesive communication strategies across multiple platforms within The Cross Church’s high-performance culture and purpose to “Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of All People.” This position manages the Communications Team and reports to the Executive Minister of Engagement.

Preschool Ministry Coordinator

The Preschool Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Preschool Minister in the development and execution of a comprehensive preschool ministry that effectively facilitates the spiritual foundation and discipleship of children, ages birth through kindergarten within The Cross Church's high-expectation culture and mission to "Spread God's Fame by Making Disciples of All People". The Preschool Coordinator reports to the Preschool Minister.

Student Ministry Associate

The Student Ministry Associates are responsible for partnering with the student ministry team to develop and lead a ministry to students, grades 7 through 12, focused on evangelism, teaching, and discipleship within The Cross Church's high-expectation culture and mission to “Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of All People.” This position reports to the Student Pastor.

Special Needs Ministry Coordinator

The Special Needs Ministry Coordinator is responsible for giving leadership to our special needs’ ministry, ages birth through adults, in our growing and diverse community as part of our mission to “Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of all People.” An obvious passion for serving special needs individuals and families for Christ is essential. This position reports to the Grow Pastor.

Care Staff – Weekend and/or Weekday Opportunities Available

Care staff are responsible for providing a safe, healthy, and loving environment to preschool children. Staff should agree with The Cross Church’s faith statement and be committed to the spiritual development of children in a Christian environment through the regular and ongoing programming provided by The Cross Church children’s ministry, contributing to the high-performance culture and mission to "Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of all People."
