For over 150 years, The Cross Church has been impacting Wylie, surrounding communities and places around the world. We began in 1870 when a small group of rural residents started a church. Since then, we seek to be a people that shares God’s Love, serves one another, and removes barriers to help people see Jesus more clearly.

The Cross Church welcomes all to join our weekend gatherings. Our diverse services and ministries aim to introduce people to Jesus and to be a place that offers hope, spiritual growth and belonging. Messages each week are based on the infallible Word of God with real life application. Watch a message or two online to hear our pastor’s teaching style.

The Cross Church offers Christ-centered, high energy, age-appropriate, and fun weekend and weekday worship experiences for the next generation, ages birth through 12th grade. Growth Groups gather weekly for Bible study, encouragement, and community. Members are encouraged and equipped to serve out of their gifting and calling. In partnership with our community, missionaries, and missions’ organizations we meet physical and spiritual needs to the glory of God and the good of people.

Student Ministry Associate

The Student Ministry Associates are responsible for partnering with the student ministry team to develop and lead a ministry to students, grades 7 through 12, focused on evangelism, teaching, and discipleship within The Cross Church's high-expectation culture and mission to “Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of All People.” This position reports to the Student Pastor.

Care Staff – Weekend and/or Weekday Opportunities Available

Care staff are responsible for providing a safe, healthy, and loving environment to preschool children. Staff should agree with The Cross Church’s faith statement and be committed to the spiritual development of children in a Christian environment through the regular and ongoing programming provided by The Cross Church children’s ministry, contributing to the high-performance culture and mission to "Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of all People."

Spanish Pastor

The Spanish Pastor provides spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and ministry direction for the Spanish-speaking congregation and community of The Cross Church. This role is responsible for preaching, teaching, discipleship, and outreach, while partnering with church leadership to align the Spanish ministry with the overall mission, vision, and values of the church to “Spread God’s Fame by making disciples of all people.”  This position reports to the Campus Experience Executive Pastor.

Hospitality Coordinator

The Hospitality Coordinator loves hospitality, enjoys hosting experiences that make a lasting impression and is passionate about creating an environment that connects people to the church.   This position gives leadership to the smooth, safe, and efficient regular operation of the church café.  In addition, this position gives leadership to the strategy, organization and execution of church and outside event hospitality, ensuring elements accomplish objectives, including but not limited to food, beverage, catering, giveaways, talent and merchandise. Responsibilities are to be performed within The Cross Church high-expectation culture and mission to spread God’s fame by making disciples of all people.  This position reports to the Executive Operations and Program Manager.

Kids Ministry Coordinator

The Kids Ministry Coordinator is responsible for supporting the kids’ ministry in the development and execution of a comprehensive kids’ ministry that effectively facilitates the spiritual foundation and discipleship of children, ages birth through 6th grade within The Cross Church high-expectation culture and mission to “Spread God’s Fame by making disciples of All People”.  The Kids Ministry Coordinator reports to the Kids and Special Needs Minister.
