Things to Know

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

The GO Ministry (i.e. missions) of The Cross Church has three specific goals.

Goal 1: To help people grow in their spiritual development

Goal 2: To invest as many hours GOing as we invest in weekly programming on campus

Goal 3: For 25% of our members to spend the night somewhere other than their bed for the purpose of spreading God’s fame

We won’t be able to accomplish these goals without Partners!

Locally, we serve the organizations that serve our community.

Regionally/Nationally, we help strengthen churches, support organizations that serve vulnerable people, and resource emergency response efforts.

Internationally, we strengthen and encourage churches, support organizations that serve vulnerable people, and invest in holistic community development.

“church” = existing churches, church plants, and disciple-making movements

“organizations” = both sacred and secular

“vulnerable peoples” = widows, orphans, and displaced peoples

Each partner selected will be assigned one of the following support levels.

Level 1 Support – The Cross Church provides monthly financial support, underwrites special projects, or sends people to serve.

Level 2 Support – The Cross Church underwrites special projects and sends people to serve.

Level 3 Support – The Cross Church sends monthly financial support, underwrites special projects, and sends people to serve.

February & March – Our Partnership Request portal opens. Inquiries received outside this window will be evaluated on a case-by-case by The Cross Church’s Management Team.

March & April – An advisory team will gather any necessary information to evaluate requests and make recommendations for partnership and support levels to the Management Team.

May & June – The Management Team will review the GO Advisory Team’s recommendations and make final decisions.

July – Support commitments are reconciled with the upcoming fiscal year’s budget proposal. The GO Team, in partnership with the Executive Minister of Operations, will finalize Partner and support levels, keeping within the boundaries established by the Management Team.

August – The new fiscal year’s budget is approved. Partner and Support levels are communicated.

September – Monthly financial support begins. One-time support payments will be scheduled.

At some point in our vetting process, a member of our Advisory Team will reach out and request the following documentation to be included in your file. Since we are operating within a defined schedule, a lack of responsiveness could result in your request for partnership being denied. We’re letting you know now, so you have time to gather this information.

  • Constitution and Bylaws
  • IRS Determination Letter
  • Annual Budget
  • Previous Year’s Profit and Loss Statement
  • A current Balance Sheet
  • A list of your Board of Directors (or members of your governing body)
  • A current org chart
  • Statement of Faith (religious organizations only)
